A hen do that ends with a feast
Exclusive use of the kitchen on Gloucester Road, a menu the bride actually wants, a licensed bar, music and the karaoke mic. Everyone cooks, everyone eats, nobody washes up.
Cooking is the activity, but eating together is the celebration. Rather than a class where guests bake in pairs and leave with a box, a Cooking It hen party is a shared feast: you cook it from scratch as the friendly competition unfolds, then sit down at the long communal tables with the bar open.
Groups of eight to thirty, from £50 a head. Pick a cuisine, decide how competitive you want it, tell us the dietary requirements, and we build the night around the group. Mixed hen and stag parties are welcome, and the whole thing works just as well for a baby shower or a 40th.

Frequently asked
I was given a class as a gift but can't make the date. Can I transfer?
That's not a problem, but we need at least six weeks' notice, as that sometimes gives us enough time to fill your space. See our terms and conditions for more.
I'm unwell and can't make tomorrow's class. Can I transfer?
As per our terms of service, we can't transfer at short notice for any reason, including bad weather, transport delays or cancellations, illness (personal or family) or bereavement. We ask for at least six weeks' notice, as that sometimes gives us time to resell your place.
We'll already have prepared everything for your attendance, so you're welcome to send a friend, family member or colleague in your place. Just let us know who to expect. If you can't send someone else, it may be worth checking whether your bank or payment card provider includes travel insurance cover.
We're having a hen, stag or children's party. Can we bring decorations?
We're happy for you to decorate the space as you wish, but we ask that you take away everything you brought with you, including all the rubbish. Please don't bring confetti, anything with glitter, or balloons filled with bits inside. Please don't leave anything behind: we can't be held responsible if anything goes missing.
Tell us what you're planning
Give us a rough date and a rough number and we'll come back with what fits. Nothing is fixed until you say so.
