"Caldoso" rice with chicken and vegetables for thermomix

Caldoso (also known as Arroz Caldoso) is a dish which has its origins from Spain. It literally means "brothy rice" and consists of broth (bouillon) and rice with diverse flavourings and extra ingredients. The recipe is quite varied depending in which region of the Iberian peninsula it is prepared. Variations of this dish range from a recipe quite similar to Italian risotto, to a rice soup, to a dish that could be mistaken for paella.

This dish is really easy to make and it actually tastes really goo. You can add any other vegetables that you like or prawns

Ingredients:
80 gr of extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic
500 gr of breast
150 g chopped green pepper
150 gr of diced red pepper
1 carrot cut into cubes or sheets
850 gr of chicken stock
1 tsp of sweet paprika
Saffron to taste or curry
Salt to taste
340 gr of rice "bomba", preferably
120 gr of peas (frozen are ok)

preparation:
Put the oil and garlic in the bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 6. Sauté 4 min, Varoma, Speed ​​1, with the basket over the lid, to avoid splatters and allow more steam to come out.
Add the chicken in chunks (3cms) and fry for 5 minutes/Varoma/reserve/ speed spoon.
Add the peppers and the chopped carrot in small pieces program 6 minutes/varoma/ reserve/ speed spoon
Add to the bowl the chicken stock, sweet paprika, saffron and salt and cook 9 minutes, Varoma/reserve/ speed spoon.
Add the rice and program 8 minutes, 100º, reverse, speed 1.
Finally add the peas and cook 5 minutes/100ºC/ reserve/speed spoon. Let it stand a few minutes and serve warm.
